  2. huerequeque1 says:

something tells me that the people ripping on rick steves here are all the same person… also, “hydrogeneconomy” feels that because rick didn’t include every desperate third world situation in his 12 minute clip that he is an ignorant blowhard who doesn’t understand what he preaches. At least not as much as some fat tubby asshole hiding behind flawed rhetoric and a keyboard.

  3. Mitsuraga says:

I’m more than willing to overlook the Christian thing, since he seems like an overall good guy.

  4. gctones says:

Hes a good man, I belive he puts others infront of him self.

  5. msk7066 says:

the point of being a politician is not to be true. hiding your true intentions is the order of the charletons.

  6. msk7066 says:

With all respect to the great Rick, is he a travel snob? That said I have used his books all over

  7. pbhello says:

Isn’t that the point?! What good are you as a cristian, an ambasitor of Christ, if you only associate with christians? How can you spread the Truth without meeting non christians?

  8. Sinjinator says:

Servant of Christ?? Gimme a break… he just wants to bring people together, regardless of religion.

He’s a great guy. He is a model Christian, in my opinion…He’s an example, not a prosletyzer.

  12. SuperNaturalImagesBC says:

Run for office Rick! more Americans need your understanding of the world.

I’m an atheist and I’d vote for you..

  13. huerequeque1 says:

I love how people will slap any white person with “white man’s guilt” because they’re brainwashed by albophobic propaganda and they can’t see an individual when they see a white face. grow up.

  14. huerequeque1 says:

    Davidsghost,
If you’re bored by rick steves, than what kind of host do you want? some animated toolbox like the hosts on discovery or history channel?

  15. thatssanfordperiod says:

  16. thatssanfordperiod says:

rick steve is a fucking alcolholic. visit an aa meeting in paris

  17. r3dfella says:

Rick is a diamond in the rough.

If only a quarter of all the politicans out there spoke with as much candor and common sense as Rick does, America would be a much better place.

He is a beacon for human rights and equality, a fearless adventuerer and a relentless activist for good in the world.

That’s not so boring for me.

    Keep kicking butt Rick!

  20. hydrogeneconomy says:

has he been to belarus or ukraine? doubt it..loads of glue sniffing street kids, orphans moved constantly never knowing where the next bed or meal will arise..

  21. hydrogeneconomy says:

I’ve huge respect for his dedication, talent, contributions, passion, etc. but it reeks of white man’s guilt, like bill gates, warren buffett, angelina jolie, et al..he stated $2 a day: I recommend anywhere in siberia; it’s $1 a day..better yet go in winter, and you’ll never need to go anywhere else to develop that appreciation he mentions. You’ll thank all the gods, Jesus Christ, etc. you were born in this country, I even saw an American women start crying when she saw the desperation..
