True, I actually learned using software myself.
I have to comment about the Notepad and learning HTML issue – as someone who studied HTML from scratch and knows how much work and time it takes, and with the easy FREE solutions there are out there today, i’d recommend for beginners to start with Wordpress, Drupal or Joomla. I guess most “normal” people would give up on Notepad and HTML after seeing how much they have to learn. Those free CMS just make it so much easier. HTML is very important to know, but you can study it through CMS too
Dude I have tried at least fifty of these places with site builders and I think they are the best or at least one of the best.

whats good about freewebs it wont ever actualy make u pay atm….i dont think because freewebs has premium and free and i think there is another so they making money different ways but yes i u where serious u should freaking buy a web

You can, im doing it right now, just bought a dell power edge for it. You have to keep the computer on 24/7, have a redundent powersuply for brownouts, more expensife, but i want the control. If your not technical like me, then just pay for a service.
LOL, no. Not sure why you’d think that. I quit in 2006 as my income was 4x’s my regular salary. A pretty good reason to quit dontcha think?

no you need to pay for a domain online using like godaddy and what not.
You can but it’s a lot of work if you have no server experience.
